Plantar fasciitis pain in my heel

Unfortunately an old injury after playing Airoball has started to play up, plantar fasciitis.  Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation and irritation of the plantar fascia, the connective tissue that supports the arch. In my case it is caused by micro-tears in the fascia at or near its attachment to the calcaneus (heel).  So I am having to reduce my walking and follow a care routine of stretches (gentle) and frozen peas after exercise, acupuncture and electromagnetic heat lamp.  Also I am going to try ultrasound massage therapy.  It has improved but still tends to flare up after exercise.  What a bother!
